Conditions We Investigate
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) & Hair
Hair often responds when hormone therapy begins, changes dose or ends. Tracking the hair alongside the therapy — in coordination with your prescriber — is what turns a worrying season into a documented pattern.
What patients often notice
- A shift in shedding within the first few months of starting or changing therapy
- Changes in texture, oiliness or scalp comfort
- Density that improves in some areas while changing in others
When to schedule an evaluation
Ideally before or shortly after therapy begins, so we have a baseline. We do not advise on hormone therapy itself — that stays with your prescriber — but we can document and investigate what your hair is doing alongside it.
